Top nations compete 2023 in St. Gallen

The first nations competing at the Longines CSIO St.Gallen from 1 to 4 June 2023 have been announced. They are the top nations Germany, France, Great Britain and the Netherlands from the European Division 1 of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup. They will challenge the defending champion Switzerland at the 27th Nations Cup of Switzerland in St.Gallen. This was announced by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI). The CSIO can now invite three more nations.

Germany will travel to the event as the runner-up in the 2021 European Championships and is the record winner of the Nations Cup in Switzerland with 19 successes. France has been able to stand on the top of the podium in Switzerland 16 times so far. Great Britain, who won bronze at the 2022 World Championships in Herning, has 13 victories on Swiss soil. Silver at the World Championships went to the team from the Netherlands. It is already clear that the Swiss team, which will be defending its title after the thrilling victory after 22 years of waiting, will face very strong competition.
