The helpers are the focus of the Stadtwerke helper jumping event.
The Longines CSIO St. Gallen got under way with the national Stadtwerke Helferspringen competition, run under the "Two Phases Special" format (both phases under Table A, with points from both phases and the time from the second phase deciding the result). All of them three places on the podium were clear over the entire course.
Victory went to Romina Galfetti aboard Ca Ira CH, thanks to the fastest second-phase time of 35.71 seconds. She finished ahead of Livia Graf with Scarlet van het Verlore Goed, second in 37.98 seconds, and Nadine Rüttimann with Castalino, who completed the all-Swiss podium in 38.32 seconds.
