Successful start with the children's afternoon

Well over 1000 children and accompanying persons enjoyed the popular CSIO Children's Afternoon presented by Migros. The event is the traditional tournament kick-off on Wednesday afternoon. The CSIO mascot Galoppi welcomed his friends Gallus from FC St.Gallen, Sämi from Säntispark and Muskelkater from the Ascension race. Clowns and artists from the circus Mugg as well as performances by young show jumper Leon Hänzi and the horses of the Swiss Army delighted the audience. In wonderful sunshine and summer temperatures, the children were able to let off steam in various activities. Riding on the military horses was particularly popular.
