With only eight faults, New Zealand claimed the honours in the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup of the United Arab Emirates at Abu Dhabi. Thanks to the faster time Egypt secured second place ahead of the team from the United Arab Emirates. Both teams totalled 17 faults. Germany, Syria and Saudi Arabia finished fourth to sixth. The home team and Syria secured the two qualifying spots on offer to teams from the Middle East region for the series Final in Barcelona. It was only the second time in the history of New Zealand equestrian sport that a show-jumping team was able to win a Nations Cup. And for the second time after 2018 Abu Dhabi was the venue for the triumph. Daniel Meech & Cinca were the only ones to complete two clear rounds and made a significant contribution to this success.
