In the traditional Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup of Great Britain in Hickstead, Brazil, Germany and France were in the lead after the two rounds over 160 centimetres with eight faults each. In the jump-off of these three teams, Brazil had to accept a fault. Germany remained clear, but Marc Dilasser risked even more, also remained clear, but was almost a second faster. After 24 years, France was finally able to lift the winner's trophy in Hickstead. Second place went to Germany, third to Brazil.
