Welcome!

Dear athletes,

On behalf of the organizing committee and all sponsors, we are very much pleased to welcome you to the Longines CSIO St.Gallen. Please find below key information to facilitate your preparations. Also, we hope we will make you feeling home and comfortable and you will have an enjoyable stay in St.Gallen.

Schedule

We kindly ask you to plan your stay in accordance with the below and as outlined in the schedule, especially pages 18-19. Please note that the schedule is being updated from time to time in order to reflect relevant changes. You can find the latest versions of both schedules here.

Arrival Procedure / BIOSECURITY REQUIREMENTS

In accordance with the FEI regulations we implement protocols especially with a view to biosecurity requirements and thank you in advance for your collaboration. Also, we build an EHV-1 conform stable set-up. Please note that no EHV-1 PCR-test is required for horses.

Arrival Slot 1: ALL LNN-HORSES-/GROOMS must arrive on TUESDAY! Due to mandatory arrival procedures for horses before entering the show ground (examination on arrival), arrivals of horses can only be processed on Tuesday, 28 May earliest from 12:30 noon until no later than 18:00.

Arrival Slot 2: Individual athletes only are invited to arrive on Wednesday, 29. May earliest from 07:00 until no later than 11:30.

No earlier arrival of horses possible! All horses delivered early or late must be accommodated in the quarantine tent until examination on arrival can carried out and, based on this, accommodation in the stables is permitted.

Riders / grooms to book arrival slot (exact time) with the riders name until Thursday 23 May 2024: Doodle-Link

Arrivals before / after the confirmed arrival slot or without a confirmed arrival slot can result in significant waiting before unloading of horses can be processed.

Examination on arrival of horses will take place at the dedicated ‘VET Check-point’ (in close proximity to the lorry parking area and the stables).

Riders / grooms obtain accreditation at the show office.

Dogs – Leash Law

Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times; offences against this rule will incur a fine of EUR 100.- and may lead to permanent withdrawal of the accreditation of the person concerned.

Accreditation

The Accreditation opens on Tuesday 28 May at 12:30 PM.

Please note that, according to the FEI regulations, only 2 persons per horse can be accredited as horse-owner(s).

Each person can collect only his/her own accreditation and has to sign for it. We will not hand over any accreditation for any third person.

Security Zone

Admission to the security zone (stables / warm-up arenas) is only possible with a valid accreditation.

It is strictly forbidden to manipulate, open or over-climbing the fence around the security- and stable zone. Access to these zones only through official entrances.

Our stables and other infrastructure are set in a public zone dedicated to soccer and other sports. We therefore urge all participants and grooms to strictly remain within our dedicated area and observe the signposts. Trespassers risk consequences.

During ‘night protocol’ from 11:00 PM to 06:00 AM, everybody who wants to enter the stables, has – apart from presenting his accreditation – to identify him-/herself by an official document with picture (passport, ID, driving license).
