EHV-1 protection scheme

We would like to draw your attention already to FEI regulations with regards to EHV-1: Factsheet for athletes & grooms. Please note that no EHV-1 PCR-test is required for horses.

Arrival time slots
First arrivals can be accepted on Tuesday, 1 June 06:00 PM – 08:30 PM --> No earlier arrival of horses possible!

* Main time slot for arrivals on Wednesday, 2 June 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Due to mandatory arrival procedures (details follow) for humans and horses before entering the show ground (Covid-19 / EHV-1), arrivals of horses on Tuesday 1 June can only be processed earliest from 06:00 pm until no later than 08.30 pm
Arrivals before / after the confirmed arrival slot can result in significant waiting before unloading of horses can be processed.

Horse inspection: Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021, nation wise from 05:00 PM onwards (as per separate schedule by Vet. Commission, tbd on Wednesday morning)

Further, please note the following preliminary guiding principles with regards to Covid-19 protection:

  • The venue has been divided into zones
  • Only limited on-site audience will be allowed (subject to valid Swiss restrictions at the time of the event)
  • Admission only for tested, vaccinated or recovered persons (does not apply to children/adolescents up to 16).
  • Tested = PCR test (not older than 72 hours) or antigen rapid test (not older than 24 hours)
  • A rapid antigen and a PCR test can be done on site (waiting time approx. 30 minutes)
  • Vaccinated = proof of both vaccinations (up to 6 months after second vaccination)
  • Convalescent = proof of previous infection (from 11th day after positive result up to 6 months)
  • Please take note of our Covid-19 protection scheme as outlined in the schedule (from p. 10): Link
  • Facemasks will be mandatory everywhere on the venue (when the minimal distancing of 1.5m cannot be ensured)
  • All participants must show a negative Covid-test upon arrival (test must have been obtained max 48h prior to the accreditation on site)
  • Movement flows have been adjusted to avoid face-to-face meetings
  • You are obliged to carry the movement tracing device (provided by the OC) together with your accreditation on you whenever you request to enter the venue

Airport Pick-Up

  • We would like to inform you, that our shuttles are departing from the Radisson Blu airport hotel, which is more or less opposite of the Terminal 1 arrival hall. You do not have to leave the terminal building, just follow the signs “Radisson Blu Hotel - Conference Center”.

The persons to be picked-up are kindly requested to go to the Radisson Blu airport hotel, where they will be welcomed by a staff from the Longines CSIO St. Gallen, who will co-ordinate the transport to the hotel or the show ground in St. Gallen.

The staff at the hotel reception is also informed and in case there should be any issue with regard to your transport, you can always call our shuttle service on mobile no. (+41 77 261 53 90

Shuttle Service during the event days

A bus shuttle is operating every 30 minutes from 07:00 – 11:00 am and from 04:00 – 08:00 pm between the venue, Hotel Säntispark, Hotel One66 and Hotel Newstar.

Further, the hotel is offering bikes free of charge.

The bus will drive from St. Gallen to Zurich Airport on Sunday 1 hour after the prize giving ceremony of the Nations Cup.
