It wasn’t an easy decision for Chef d’Equipe Andy Kistler. He is counting on the winner of the Olympic Games and the World Cup Steve Guerdat with Nino des Buissonnets as first rider. Romain Duguet, who was reserve rider last year, will be competing with Quorida de Treho as second, followed by Martin Fuchs with Clooney. Pius Schwizer with Amira will be the last rider to compete. For our team it is not only the performance in front of the domestic audience. They are also riding for the first points in the Furusiyya FEI Nations CupTM. On one hand they want to hold the position in the league of the highest European Division. On the other hand with the goal to qualify themselves for the finale of the global Nations Price Serie. Seven of the total ten teams from the Europe Top League will line up together with eleven other teams from all over the world for the final in Barcelona. Falsterbo in Sweden, Hickstead in Great Britain and Dublin in Ireland are the further events, where the Swiss can get the needed points. Their home CSIO is also the first rehearsal for the European Championship in August this year in Aachen (Germany). Besides medals they will be riding for the qualification for the Olympic Summer Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.
