Despite discouraging weather the ambience at Notenstein Children Afternoon of Longines CSIO St. Gallen was spectacular. Thanks to Notenstein Private Bank headquartered in St. Gallen, almost 600 kids and their parents had an unforgettable afternoon awakening interest for horses.

An extraordinary CSIO opening on Wednesday had a World-class scale. The Lutisburg vaulting team - the current World champion - performed an exciting show featuring acrobatic and perfection moves.

Arthur da Silva gave an insight into the showjumping world. The successor of Markus Fuchs' stables featured how to warm up a horse and prepare for a competition. The children provided an outstanding support while the rider led his way over various fences.

Another splendid performance by Offroad-Kjöring provided a show featuring the sport that combines skating and equestrian sports where the skater on rollers is pulled by a horse through a specially designed course comprising obstacles for skaters and horses.

The police of St. Gallen as well as canton and city officials presented the police dog unit. The quadrupeds showed how they behave in different situations, namely in a chase for criminals.

Throughout the afternoon the children had a chance to visit various attractions varying from farm animals to a bouncy castle.
